7.Additional Options

7.1. Ans key (Saves the Result)

psec stores the most recent result of a calculation even after the application terminates.

The result can then be consulted at a future time by using the "Ans" key.

The "Ans" key can be reached by pressing the "SFT" key from the numbers keyboard.

7.2. Random Number Function

psec has a function to generate random numbers 0 and 1.

To generate random numbers, press the "SFT" key from the numbers keyboard, then press the "Ran#" key.

* Only available in real number mode.

7.3. Block Display Function

Calculations in integer mode with large precision ( 32 bit or 64 bit ), could yield results that do not fit on a single display line.

Fortunately psec has a function to display the results by blocks of 8 figures.

When the "=" key is pressed, the least significant block is displayed. To view the higher blocks, press the ↑ key or the ← key. To view the lower blocks, press the ↓ key or the → key.

* Only available in integer mode.
